The Banyan tree Project
As a Student here, I have recently completed a number of projects, drawing inspiration from the Indian Highways and their planted Banyan trees. Sampling by a student at ANFDS
At Anil Nair Fashion Design Studio, sample-making is an important part of the design process. Our experienced team of sewers and pattern makers have the skills and knowledge to create a perfect sample from your roughs. This student did her experimenting through her roughs to create a fair piece of clothing. The entire work is an intensive and difficult process. Therefore, our team helped her achieve the perfect sample. We believe in the motto “learn by doing” and strive to ensure that you (like her) are able to create a sample that you are proud of.

Bikers Collection- Print Development
Fashion students at the Anil Nair Fashion Design Studio (ANFDS) gain valuable, hands-on experience in the fashion industry. Recently, students concluded a module on prints & patterns by creating a stunning biker’s collection. To showcase the collection, ANFDS organised a private exhibition for the students. The event was a huge success, with a great turnout of enthusiastic fashion enthusiasts. It was a great opportunity for the students to gain exposure and to test their skills in the competitive fashion industry. The feedback they received was invaluable and will help them in their future endeavors.

At ANFDS, students are encouraged to visit the design studios of their favorite fashion gurus to get first-hand experience of their creative genius. For example, our students recently visited the late Wendell Rodricks design studio in Goa, and were truly inspired by the experience. Following the footsteps of these fashion gurus is a great way for our students to stay ahead of the trends and to continue to push the boundaries of fashion.
